“LOTR: Tolkien's First Draft” at MisCon 2026

Our comedic take on Tolkien made its world premiere at the MisCon International Short Film Festival. 2026 marked the festival's 40th anniversary of celebrating fantasy, horror, and science-fiction films. They took over Montana's Missoula County Fairgrounds.

Each year MisCon has a different theme. This year's theme was "The Upside Down". More than just movie screenings, the festival included a Monster Tent, a Dragon Pavillion and a Dungeon, with lots of vendors, games, cosplay, food trucks -- creating an immersive Ren Faire vibe.
